Ou...HARRYZSPICE got me nicely through the holidays. Our thanksgiving turkey was an absolute hit with Harryz Herb Rub, creating demand for an encore on Christmas (I used a Weber Smoker). For Christmas I smoked a brisket with the Universal Rub. One packet was about perfect for a 10 lb. brisket. My wife is now demanding more of the same. So of course I'm placing another order today. Nothing compares with Harryz for flavor! If not then here it is:

Peel ginger by scraping outer skin with knife.
Cut it as fine long sticks.
Add Venegar or lime or lemon juice.
Add salt to taste.
Refrigerate and enjoy for 10-15 days.

If you like you can also add little bit of sugar and some hot peppers. Golden raisin also taste good and also used when some one is having indigestion. Other addition can be Chiraunjee (I dont know english name). These additions will work with only with lemon or lime juice. cookwithharry/harryzspiceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12411469834082558668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4416927292132575892.post-72401749121244967742011-11-06T12:34:27.239-08:002011-11-06T12:34:27.239-08:00Ground cumin cooks too fast, therefore whole cumin...Ground cumin cooks too fast, therefore whole cumin seeds will be better. You can control cumin flavor lot better when it is "whole". Never put it in cold oil, wait till it is medium hot and observe till it become light brown to add other things. Hope it helps !cookwithharry/harryzspiceshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12411469834082558668noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4416927292132575892.post-37229142394240933822011-10-02T17:58:33.783-07:002011-10-02T17:58:33.783-07:00How about a pickle of ginger in lemon or vinegar? How about a pickle of ginger in lemon or vinegar?Rajnihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10851452207331294672noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4416927292132575892.post-64264402056365885932011-10-02T15:58:34.295-07:002011-10-02T15:58:34.295-07:00To substitute cumin for garam masala, do you mean ...To substitute cumin for garam masala, do you mean ground cumin?Rajnihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10851452207331294672noreply@blogger.com
